The owners of this amazing family home in Cheshire visited our demonstration room at Bollington to experience the very latest in-home cinema room design and technology.
Having sampled the incredible immersive audio and laser UHD video technology within our room, the couple left having set our design team the brief of delivering the exact room they had experienced, within their own home. Not only did the couple want the same incredible audio visual experience, but also the same interior design. This was to include: the luxurious cinema seating; beautifully soft, upholstered wall paneling with integral LED lighting; and luxury smooth, silky carpet.
Upon completing the survey of their existing room, we found a cinema room which felt dated and had most certainly seen better days. It was obvious it was a room the family had fallen out of love with. They had in fact stopped using the room, and it had become dead space within a home with otherwise stunning interior design.
To provide an accurate visualisation of how the completed room would look ahead of any works commencing, we produced multiple view renders of the room at design stage, to be approved and signed off by our Client.
What followed was a complete room strip out, taking the space back to bare walls ahead of an extensive full turn key solution of works started. The extensive works included joinery, construction and plastering works, with new cabling for the audio visual equipment, lighting control, powered seating and automated blinds. Once all of the preparatory works had been completed, room decoration, upholstered wall paneling, carpeting, seating and audio visual installations ran simultaneously, with all works either completed or managed by the Niche Audio Visual project management team.
Once all installation works were completed, the final step was to calibrate the audio visual equipment within the room to ensure it delivered the best immersive sound and most vibrant video image it could.
Another great feature of the room is its simple control system, removing the need for a bank of remote controls and switches. One remote ensures a single press of a button lowers the blinds, prepares the room’s lights and powers on the cinema equipment, ready for a family member to simply press the play button. Then, it’s showtime!
The transformation of the room we think is quite amazing and we believe our team has delivered a room that this family can fall back in love with. We’re sure it will provide endless enjoyment for years to come.

A room like this encourages families to spend time together and provides a versatile room not only for movies, but music concerts, big sporting events or even Saturday night Strictly.
