The team that form Niche Audio Visual are an award-winning group of engineers, who specialise in delivering the finest home cinema, multi room audio visual, lighting control, security and communications systems within prestigious residential and commercial buildings.
Niche Audio Visual was founded by Richard Mather, who, with over 18 years of experience working within the electrical design, specification and installation sectors of the construction industry, has developed a wealth of experience working in both commercial and residential projects.
Richard and his team have worked within some of the most esteemed homes in the UK and abroad and have been responsible for the installation of smart home residential projects up to £600,000 in project value.
Richard is a certified Crestron and Lutron systems programmer and leads a team of highly experienced engineers, who work to the very highest standards, which defines Niche Audio Visual as one of the very best design and installation companies in the UK.

Niche Audio Visual provide home owners, design professionals and construction companies with a full design, installation and commissioning service, guiding them and communicating with them throughout the project works.
During the design and specification process., Niche Audio Visual place high importance on energy efficiency, helping their clients to both conserve energy and reduce a building’s running costs. The system designers at Niche are always looking for ways to help reduce the impact their installations have on the environment by helping to reduce the carbon footprint of a building through energy efficient lighting and heating control installations.

The commissioning of their installations is completed with equal attention to detail, ensuring their client receives the maximum performance from their system and that it is tailored to their exact requirements. Once projects are completed, their outstanding service continues: providing ongoing support and service calls when required; including locally at the building by Niche’s engineers, or; through diagnosis of the system via a remote connection.
